A Denver based photographer, Garrett Ellwood originally started in Los Angeles as an assistant to the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Clippers in 1996.  In 1998, he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and became the Charlotte Hornets and Carolina Panthers team photographer.  In 2002, he had the opportunity to return home and assume the team photographer position for the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Rapids.  Since 1996 Garrett has photographed 29 NBA Finals, 30 NBA All-Star Weekends, 3 Super Bowls, 6 Olympic games as well as numerous other major sporting events. 

Garrett Ellwood's photography has been featured in every major publication including Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, Life and ESPN the Magazine to name a few.  His photography has been used extensively in domestic and global advertising campaigns for major companies such as Nike, Adidas, EA Sports, Pepsi, Coke, and McDonalds.  Garrett resides in Castle Pines, Colorado with his wife and three sons.
